First, THANK YOU so much for stopping by. The main reason I began this blog is because of you. I absolutely LOVE that we have the opportunity to homeschool our boys. I put a lot of time and energy into our lessons and 90% of my ideas come from the internet on blogs just like this. My hope is to offer suggestions, ideas, and encouragement to other homeschoolers out there. I have gotten so much of that from many of you, and I would like to now pay it forward 🙂
So a little about ourselves….
My husband, Justin and I first meet back in high school and dated on and off for a good 10 years before getting married. (I was the one with cold feet issues) It’s so funny to think of that now. He is the most selfless person you will ever meet and works so hard that I am able to stay home with our 3 little bears. I love being with my kiddos but also enjoy cooking, taking hikes, and road trips.
Caleb is our oldest and I am in denial that he is already 13 and in 7th grade. He loves to build just about anything especially with his Legos or cardboard. Minecraft is also a BIG thing around here. He is extremely musical. He can hear a song on the radio and go straight to the piano or guitar and play it. Lately, he has been into remixing songs. It is so much fun to watch him grow with his music. He is extremely sensitive and is always trying to cheer people up if they are having a hard day. I absolutely LOVE his serving heart.
Next is Xander who is 4 and in kindergarten. This kiddo is a sponge. He is always eager to sit in on “school” and learn something new. He is ALL about baseball right now. He also loves his cars and monster trucks. If you are ever unsure about where he is, just wait and listen for the sounds of engines and crashing. He is constantly creating races and running around the house with his matchbox cars. He also loves to create wars using his older brother’s SkyLander Giant figurines. (I find them everywhere) He is a snuggle-bug and is always giving out random hugs.
Lastly is Wesley who is 4 and in preschool. He is an EATER. This boy is always the first to a meal and the last one to leave. I don’t know where he puts it all. Wes LOVES trains and marble runs. Set one of those up for him and he is occupied for hours. He is my mama’s boy and a bit of a loner. He prefers to play by himself but has been slowly branching out more with his brothers. It’s so much fun to watch him grow.
